Tagger connection issues

The tagger isn't showing up or won't connect

NOTE: In 99% of all cases, tagger connection issues are related to a low battery in the tagger, regardless of the battery status shown in the app or whether it is a fresh/new battery.

 

Step 1. Ensure the tagger is turned on by pressing the trigger

If not connected to an app, the tagger will go into power-saving mode after 5 minutes.

 

Step 2. Use the troubleshooter in the app

Open the tagger overview and tap on "My tagger is not showing?"

Follow the troubleshooter guide to identify the problem and solution.

Important: Please use the battery tester to see the actual voltage of the batteries. The voltage of the 9V battery must be at least 7.2V to ensure the Bluetooth module is stable.
